Steam creates it's own set of registry entries outside of the boxed gold edition of FSX.Īn issue that comes up will usually (almost always) be due to the 3rd party software that isn't able to handle the side by side install of both FSX (boxed) and FSX : SE versions. The steam version was designed to work along side FSX box istalled. There are plenty out there running both without problems. Having 2 installs of FSX should not create an issue. Having two sets of registry entries is causing lots of problems for people, but not for first time users of FSX on Steam.

Not that easy to do, but there is advice on the internet explaining how to do it. The recommended advice, before installing the Steam Edition, is to get rid of all previous FSX registry entries before install. No doubt you're getting these problems because you've had the boxed version installed previously, so it creates multiple registry entries. It's the other way around, FSX-SE is the Steam version - SE stands for Steam Edition. In my local drive**\Users\**my user**\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\ has 2 folders But now I change to use FSX Steam Edition. 引用自 Sophui:I have the same problem but I found the solution.

If someone has it working, can you turn on your log and confirm the IP Address and Port, etc of your server? Can you then post your SimConnect.XML file? Deidentify your ip address etc.ĪSN on the client seems to be working correctly, but just sits there and indicates "Waiting for FS Connection" ASN support wasn't very much help. The SimConnect.xml is located in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\ Here is what my Log info: as you can see the server is on 127.0.0.1Ġ.01882 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=Pipe, Name=\\.\pipe\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimConnect, MaxClients=64Ġ.02304 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=IPv6, Address=::1, Port=50343, MaxClients=64Ġ.02657 Server: Scope=local, Protocol=IPv4, Address=127.0.0.1, Port=50344, MaxClients=64 I can't get SimConnect on the server to read the SimConnect.XML file.
